One last entry for tonight

Shannon got very I'll on the way home and, just before our turn off, I
got pinched by NHP. 98 in a 65. I explained the situation and even tho
I couldn't find my registration, he just ran my license and sent me on
my way.
No warning. No lecture. No "don't do it again" just "get her home for
me."

Thank god for small mercies.
